Granton Loop from 5-Ways

An easy-paced ride perfect for anyone who hasn't been out on their bike for a while!

Starting with an easy downhill on the Trinity path we head towards Wardie Bay then along to the harbour at Granton. From there we'll head up to the Waterfront, taking a look at the charming family statue before descending again to the coast. We'll then head up through Forthquarter Park, loop around the new Gasholder Park then take the shared paths alongside the road up to the Red Bridge.
Heading 'homeward' on the Ferry Road path, we'll make a diversion along Wardie Road and Primrose Bank to reach the lower end of the Trinity path and retracing our path back to the starting point.

We'll stop for refreshments either along our route or at the end so bring card/cash if you want to purchase anything.

Helmets are strongly recommended.

Please aim to bring a spare inner tube (or two) to suit your bike tyres and/or have a plan to get home with your bike in case of a problem (eg friend/taxi).
