COVID-19 NOTE:
In line with government guidelines at the time of writing, if you are showing any coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating, you should stay at home.

Please ensure you bring a face covering, and a small amount of hand gel for your personal use.

This ride is a Graceful Greens - a little faster, now that you are feeling more confident, these rides will be at a steady pace average 9 –11mph. This will be a friendly ride, which may be a good one for ladies looking to go a bit further and a bit higher.

After introductions and checks, we will ride from The Angel Car Park to Bigby, through the village and up to appreciate the views. There are no prizes for speed or grace uphill, and no need to worry about holding anyone up - this is a Breeze ride, and no one will be left behind. The hill is helpfully in sections, so up, along and catch your breath, up, along and catch your breath etc. Nothing to be scared of (I promise!).

We'll head down to Melton Ross, and along Middlegate Lane to Elsham. Hopefully we'll be able to stop at a local cafe for a snack (bring money/ card) before heading back to Brigg via Wrawby.

Particularly if your bike hasn’t been ridden for a while (but even if it has), please check that your tyres are fully pumped up, your chain moves freely, your brakes work, and your bike is road-worthy. You don’t need special cycle gear, but trousers etc must not be flappy, and any laces must be tucked in.

As ever on a Breeze ride, we recommend you wear a helmet, bring the appropriate inner tubes for your bike, the tools (including a pump you know how to use which fits your bike) to replace them with, a drink for the ride, and cash for the cafe stop

If you have any specific medical requirements which may be relevant to the ride, please ensure the ride leader is aware of them at the start of the ride – feel free to have a quiet word.

Please be ready 15 minutes before the ride start time to allow for introductions and essential safety checks.
