About the route
This Easter we ‘hop’ over to Gosport for a spin around past Stokes Bay, up the old railway track to Fareham, then around Portsmouth Harbour. Plenty of sights along the way, and we’ll stop for a café break in Portchester, with views of the harbour. The ferry fare is £4.60, although we’ll only be going one-way. It’s all tarmac, mostly off roads and on quiet streets, suitable for any bike or ability. As ever, we travel at the pace of the slowest rider! 3-4 hours ride
