Goose to Parkgate

We leave Dock Road and head over Hawarden Bridge towards the Burton Marshes.
Over the Marshes and up through quiet roads to Neston
We head to Leighton Road which is a gradual climb up to Boathouse Lane.
These can be busy roads so care must be taken.
We descend Boathouse Lane to Parkgate and to the Goose Café.
After the café stop we will carry on through Parkgate and up Neston Road.
Turn right to Church Lane and back to Burton Marshes via quiet roads.
Then we head back to Dock Road via the industrial park.

Interesting ride to the Goose café, Parkgate.

Mainly on cycleways and quiet roads but there are a couple of busy roads to contend with.

We will be stopping at the Goose café, Parkgate. It's only a small café and they don't take bookings so if there is no room for us we will move on to the next one.

A bike in good working order with the tyres pumped up. A helmet is compulsory for this ride. Lights for your bike as winter riding brings poor visibility. Spare inner tubes which are easier to change and a pump. Suitable clothing nothing baggy that could get caught in the chain/gears. Bike lock A drink/snacks for the ride. Money/card for the café stop. If using an E-bike make sure it is fully charged for the ride. Medication if needed.
