Good Friday Stratton, Charminster, and Sun Inn Loop from Dorchester

If you've been on the Easy Beginners Dorchester ride to Wrackleford with us (last done on 1st February 2025), you'll recognise the first part of this route! We head out of Dorchester on the shared use traffic free path (part of NCN26) alongside the road to Wrackleford.

From there, we follow the NCN26 for a way, but on quiet country lanes to form a loop through Bradford Peverell, Muckleford, and Stratton.

We will pause at the Saxon Arms in Stratton for a cuppa and chat before continuing back into Dorchester. This time, we turn off the cycle path to go through Charminster, landing at The Sun Inn and finishing our ride along the pretty shared use path beside Dorchester's water meadows (part of the Frome Valley Trail).
