Good Friday - Goodnestone Park

Fancy a Good Friday ride in the sunshine? Well, at the moment that is the current weather forecast, 17 degrees C and little wind. And sunshine. A ride with three start points, and one destination.

Start point 1 at 9.30am: Tankerton Slopes, opposite JoJo's restaurant on Herne Bay Road, j/w Marine Parade j/w Marine Crescent. We will then ride to pick up riders at......

Start point 2 at 10.00am: Lower Herne Road j/w Bullockstone Road Herne Bay. We will all ride to pick up riders at........

Start point 3 at 11.00am: Grove Ferry Picnic Park.

Destination: Goodnestone Park. The Old Dairy cafe/restaurant offers pleasant surroundings for coffee, cake, breakfast, lunch at reasonable prices.

Riding will be on some slightly busy town roads but mostly on quiet country lanes. We will ride through picturesque villages and countryside of fields and flowers. At this time of year it is all very beautiful.

Start point 1 your total mileage will be 37 miles.
Start point 2 your total mileage will be 27 miles.
Start point 3 your total mileage will be 17 miles.

What to bring:
COMPULSORY: Cycle helmet; roadworthy bike; spare inner tube and tools to change this; essential medication you rely on; money for the coffee stop.
Suggested: Dress for the weather, layering is best.

COVID 19: My rides are following the current Government guidelines. However if you are currently testing covid positive, I respectfully ask that you do not attend this ride.
