Ringmead

Bracknell’s road network was designed so that motorised traffic was segregated from cyclists and pedestrians. The town’s shared use cycle paths are wide, well-surfaced and superb for family cycling. Experience what the Dutch enjoy so much – ultra-safe, traffic free cycling. Our route explores the cycle network which connects schools, shops, fast food outlets, and arts and sports facilities. In keeping with our Dutch theme – the ride goes through Great Hollands and passes Mill Lane! If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are less than 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
