Glasgow – Special Sky Ride Local with Free Wheel North – 12 miler

Come and join us on the Special Sky Ride Local ride in Partnership with Freewheel North.   To celebrate the great work Freewheel North has been doing since 2008 we are putting on a midweek led ride from their fantastic facility based at Glasgow Green.   The Ride   A gentle route from Glasgow Green that takes you out to the Scotstoun Leisure Centre through the park, along the riverside pathway and also uses the NCN7 cycle path on the way.   The route is perfect for people looking to increase their distance without the need to use the roads, as it uses off-road paths all the way along.   There are plenty of sights to see along the way including the SSE Hydro, the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, the Tall Ship at Riverside and the Riverside Museum to name a few.   To learn more about Freewheel North, their facilities and the great work they do please visit their website, www.freewheelnorth.org.uk
