Glasgow – Legacy Hub to the Cuningar loop - 4 miler

A route from the Legacy Hub at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome to the urban woodland at the Cuningar Loop.

The route follows the path network through the former athletes village from the hub before heading to the Cuningar Loop, a “Legacy 2014” project that transformed 15 hectares of derelict land on the banks of the River Clyde into an attractive woodland.

The Cuningar Loop originally constructed around 1806, was the location of several reservoirs that raised water from the River Clyde and distributed throughout the city. the reservoirs were originally designed under the direction of Thomas Telford and James Watt.
