If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour. Starting at Glasgow's best known country house - Pollok House. This is a rolling hilly route heading south up to the reservoirs. Steep road climbs heading south but rewarded with great views back at the city when you turn for home. Enjoy the route home weaving through the reservoirs and waterfalls with some enjoyable down hills through forestry and back through Pollok Park viewing the estates beautiful gardens and parkland. Cycle along the White Cart River finishing back at the steps of the impressive 18th century mansion.
