Giro de Wetlands

Off-road ride down to Goldcliff then onto the Wetlands loop. Definitely MTB / CC bike country. expect to get muddy. Stop at the Seawall cafe before heading back to Caldicot via the Levels. Meet at the Choir Hall at 10am. Leave the hall and cross the by-pass taking the lanes through the levels to Undy. Continue on to Redwick and then onto Whitson turning over hump-back bridge towards Broad Common. Head down Chapel Lane to Goldcliff and turn off left towards the Wetlands at Saltmarsh Lane. Continue around the off-road track around the Wetlands reserve, (great photo opportunities of wildlife and the estuary) before meeting Nash Road. Continue back through Goldcliff before taking the Seawall Lane to the café for coffee and cakes. The return journey through Whitson and then onto the Queen’s Way back to Magor before continuing home via Undy and Rogiet. Distance approximately 31 miles.
