Giant York to the Balloon Tree

This ride will take a traffic-free route out of the city centre along the cycle path through Tang Hall and Osbaldwick before joining the quiet country roads at Murton. We'll then take a nice route out through Warthill and Gate Helmsley before a little coffee break at the lovely cafe at the award-winning Balloon Tree farmshop. We'll then make our way back into York. All you will need is a road-worthy bike that you are confident riding. New comers, and old-time Breezers alike are all welcome! Dress for the weather, and bring a bit of cash for the coffee stop. We will try our best to be tough and endure the weather, but keep an eye out for a text or an email on the day of the ride as if the road-surfaces are unsafe we will unfortunately have to cancel.
