Please join me this Halloween for a thrilling ride through haunted tales and eerie folklore. We’ll stop to uncover spine-tingling stories of witches, giants, and fairies lurking in local legend. Expect ghostly treats to keep your strength up… and feel free to come dressed for the occasion—if you dare.

This ride includes the Pen Y Pass hill climb, ranked as one of the top hill climbs in North Wales. We start at Llanberis heading straight up the pass. There’s some lumps coming out of Llanberis but the climbing doesn’t really start until you’re through the village of Nant Peris. The climb from this point averages 6% to the top with a maximum grade of 10.2%. Early on, the grade sits at around 3-4%, a nice early warm-up for what’s about to come. Once at the top we are rewarded with a long descent taking us down to Nant Gwynant. We then travel up the beautiful Gwyrfai Valley from the picturesque village of Beddgelert to Rhyd Ddu. We head back through Waunfaur and over to Llanberis.

Ideal for Breeze riders who want to challenge themselves and have fun! And those who are new to Breeze rides are very welcome. This ride is classified as ‘challenging’ because it includes the Pen Y Pass hill climb, as well as a few other steep ramps on the way round, completing the ride at an average pace of approx. 20kph (12mph). We ride up hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. We never leave anyone behind.

This ride is weather dependent. We won't ride if there are strong winds (20mph+) or it is pouring with rain.

This ride is 'no frills' as there is NO café stop. We will have a roadside stop to have a drink/snack (bring your own).
I always carry extra supplies (just in case!): sweets; water; period products; first aid kit; and puncture repair patches. So please let me know if you ever need anything.
Please do let me know if there’s anything I need to know or can do to help to make this ride more accessible for you.
