Ghost Ride - A Midnight Visit To Kitty Jay's Grave

Starting from - Out on Dartmoor, not too far from the village of Manaton, at a cross-roads in the middle of nowhere, lies the grave of Kitty Jay. If you've never heard of Kitty Jay, I suggest you read this: https://www.legendarydartmoor.co.uk/kitty_jay.htm

I'm starting a series of ghost-themed, quite short night rides, called Ghost Rides, and the 1st of these will be a midnight visit to Kitty's grave, to lay flowers.
The ride of only 7.5 miles (feel free to extend it by starting and finishing elsewhere) will start at the Hemsworthy Gate car park, near Haytor, Dartmoor, and will follow this route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33271642

The ride is provisionally pencilled in for the 25th of July 2020, but may be postponed, depending on the weather. We will leave the starting point at 23h30.

The ride is on quiet Dartmoor lanes, and completely on tar. It is suitable for any kind of bike.

PLEASE NOTE: COVID-19 is real and remains a risk. We will practice social distancing throughout this ride.

The ride will set off from, and end at Hemsworthy Gate car park, near Haytor, Dartmoor. Please note, there are no toilets, and no cafe facilities.
However, at the end of the ride, I will be boiling water in my campervan and you'd be welcome to stick around for coffee or tea.
