Starting point

HX7 6JE

Hebden Bridge Station, meet outside the front entrance of the station building.

Please Note: This is a skills development ride offered by Whoosh Mountain Biking on a commercial basis and there is a cost to participate. Taking place entirely on the 'natural' network of Bridleways around Hebden Bridge, 'Get Natural' integrates a look at the range of technical skills used in natural trail riding into a day out in the hills. Skills covered include body positioning, reading the trail, gear selection, technical climbing, descending/small drop-offs, cornering - a little bit of everything! We'll be covering between 10 and 15 miles over 6 hours (plus a lunch break!) with lots of chance to refine your skills and acquire new ones. Taking place on technical trails with features up to the level you would find at a Red graded trail centre you should be used to riding off-road and regularly riding this sort of distance. The day always ends with a cracking descent to check you were paying attention! (If this sounds a bit full-on please keep an eye out for our 'Get Control' course which cover a bit less distance in less technical terrain...) Your guide on this course is BC MTB Leader and National Standard Instructor qualified and holds Outdoor First Aid and third party insurance to cover these activities. Cost is £60 per person, maximum 4 participants, booking confirmed only upon receiving payment in full. Please contact [email protected] for more details.
