This is the ride from the 20th which had no bookings - probably because the weather forecase was bad, The World Cup Final was on, and people were on holiday :-).

Exploring the North West of Milton Keynes and the Ouse Valley. This is the short (5ml) route taking in the Canal and Aqueduct, Ouse Valley, Wolverton Mill, Old Wolverton Castle. Lovely ride full of interest.

I've modified the normal route to avoid the long trudge up Wolverton Road so we ill be going via the Wolverton Mill Balancing Lake. We'll also take-in Holy Trinity Church and the Norman Old Wolverton Castle

Along Cycle Routes and quiet local roads this ride is suitable for beginners and youngsters. The route is mainly flat. We travel at the speed of the slowest person and never leave anyone behind. We stop occasinally to look at places of local interest. Given fair weather this is a great ride.
