Fancy a nice short cycle ride with the kids?
or
If you haven't ridden your bike for a while and would like to start again;
if you don't feel very fit and think you'd get left behind on more formal club rides;
if you feel like doing short routes rather than the 20-60 mile sprints that 'cyclists' seem to do;
if you aren't sure about being able to negotiate modern, busy, roads in safety;
if you've had health problems and would like to get a bit healthier;
if you like using your bike but don't know anyone to go with;
This is definitely for you!
If you'd like to have a friendly social ride around the beautiful redways, cycle routes, and quiet roads of Milton Keynes join us every Saturday for an hour and a half of gently cruising along and enjoying the scenery and perhaps learning a bit about your local area. You won't even get lost - we have experienced MK Council Ride Leaders who guide you along the way.
It's all-right to walk up hills; it's almost required to chat; it's fine not to wear lycra; we stop for kids to have a snack and drinks.
If you're bike is a bit ropey we can advise you on how to get it into shape - and we'll point you to other ways that you can enjoy riding a bike using the Bikeability schemes we support (see
https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/highways-and-transport-hub/cycling/cycle-training ).
So sign-up, come along, have a good time!
This ride is part of the Milton Keynes 'Get Cycling Programme', for more information, visit
