Get Active Watergate Park

These rides are delivered in partnership with Gateshead Council Get Active Team. We will meet at the football pavilion behind Emmanuel College. There are toilet facilities here. There are 2 car parks. The main one if just off the whickham highway, and the smaller on is just opposite the Ravensdene Hotel on Consett Road. Each week we will take in different routes with the beautiful space that makes up Watergate park. Depending on the riders present, weather etc some of the rides may be longer and venture out of the park towards the Keelman's way or Tanfield Railway route. We have mountain bikes and helmets available for use, but if you have your own please feel free to bring it. The terrain can get quite muddy, so wear appropriate clothing.
