Gentle Breeze Ride through Sankey Valley

A lovely ride through Sankey Valley park. Mostly flat. Maybe a bit muddy in places due to rainfall. My intention is to stop for 2 short breaks totalling 15 minutes. Unfortunately there are no cafés on this route. We will join the trans penine trial for a very short time before returning back to the hub. There is plenty of wildlife to see including swans and their signets and we maybe get a glance at the Heron if we are fortunate enough. His wing span is amazing when he takes off! Lots of photo opportunities on this ride. It is essential to bring a waterproof jacket as the weather is very changeable at this time of year. It is also important that you have your front and back lights as this is an early evening ride. Don't forget your helmet! Although not compulsory it is better to be safer than not. If you have a high visibility jacket please bring it along with you. I look forward to meeting you !
