The route starts at the Ravensworth Arms Car Park and will travel along the road to Lady Park. We will follow the road until the bridleway near to Beggars Wood then up to Watergate Forest Park. We will travel along the Tanfield Railway and make our way to Dunston Straiths. We will return via Teams Waggonway and Teams Valley Cycleway to the Angel Cycleway. We will go half of the way up before travelling down the road to Long Acre Wood and through the Wood. We will then return to the Ravensworth Arms via road.

This is a slow ride so no one will be left behind. but there are some sections which are overgrown or where we will have to negotiate some tricky gates and there is a bit of stopping and starting and walking around sections where we are instructed to dismount. The Angel Cycle way is a steep pull up hill but we will only be going half way up!

If you are not able to attend please cancel on the web page if possible.
Please bring a spare inner tube.

Thank you
Clare
