The actual meeting point is the view point car park at the top of the Laurieston road just as you start to go across the moor.
Riders have the option of starting in Gatehouse and meeting the rest of the group at the viewpoint but this would be outside the responsibility of the ride leader and at your own risk, DG7 2JA

DG7 2JA

Mixture of main roads and single track roads. Most of the single track goes over Laurieston Moor which can be a bit gravelly in places with a couple of cattle grids. On reaching Laurieston, we’ll take a steady ride around towards Loch Ken and aim to arrive at the Red Kite Centre for opening time at 1pm. It has a small cafe (not sure what the food is like so you may want to bring your own lunch - there is seating outside) and the kites are fed at 2pm
When everyone is ready to leave, we’ll return back along Laurieston moor to Gatehouse
