Starting point

Shropshire

Our ride starts at Knighton Railway Station and follows the River Teme up the valley past Llanfairwaterdine and on to Melin-y-Grogue for the open garden party in aid of Knighton and District Refugee Support Group. As Guided Rides are free we are not expecting our participants to spend lots of money, the entrance fee of £2 covers the cost of a tea/coffee which is in line with what we would pay at a cafe on a normal ride. It is an out and back ride and will go at the pace of the slowest rider so that we can all keep together and chat along the way. Stops can be taken at anytime and a push up a hill or two if we need to.
No special clothing is required, something bright makes us more visible to other road users but dress to be comfortable on your bike.
Please bring a well maintained bike, a drink and any refreshment you think you might need and advise a helmet, this is compulsory for any under 18's.
