This 20 mile road route starts and finishes at the historic Lytham Windmill. From there you depart inland, meandering through Lytham Hall, a Grade 1 Georgian House managed by the Heritage Trust with 78 acres of woodland. After Lytham House you continue north around the airport and into suburban Blackpool. You quickly jump on the prom, cycling north to the infamous Blackpool Pier. Breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy an ice cream. From there you follow the stunning coastline for 8 miles, mixing cycle paths and coastal roads through St Annes and back to Lytham Windmill.
