Our route will vary each week however will be on bridleways, shared paths, green routes and beginnings blue mtb route (only if participants want to do this). Cannock Chase is forest area of outstanding national beauty. The paths are gravel and dirt trails. It is an undulating landscape and so we can’t ride totally flat routes however we won’t be riding steep hills. This is a beginners ride and is about building confidence and enjoying the ride. If there are sections that people do not want to or can’t ride then there is option to walk the bike. There is nothing technical and wheels will stay firmly on the ground!

This Breeze ride is a beginners mountain bike ride, brought to you by a qualified Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leader and level 2 MTB leader. To deliver rides as per the remit of the Fundamentals of MTB Award, we also hold a valid 2 day outdoor first aid certificate. This ride will take you across Cannock Chase, an area of outstanding natural beauty. You might even see the deer! It is not a technical route, mainly bridleways. Cannock Chase is undulating. We can’t promise a flat route however there will not be steep climbs.

This is an off road ride using the bridleways on Cannock Chase. It is a beginners/confidence building ride so nothing technical - your wheels will stay firmly on the ground! Our aim in to provide a friendly and socialable ride at a steady pace. Giving you chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Cannock Chase AONB.

There is a cafe a Marquis Drive Visitors Centre and also opportunity to stop at Springslade Lodge. Stops will depend on the route which we will vary each week.

You will need a mountain bike or hybrid which is suitable for off road rides and so have tyres will good treads. A helmet. An inner tube. We can help with punctures
