Fundamentals of Mountain Biking Ride- Bwlch Nant yr Arian Melindwr Blue trail

**** This Breeze bike ride is a beginner mountain bike ride brought to you by a qualified Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leader. To deliver rides as per the remit of the Fundamentals of MTB Award, I also hold a valid 2-day outdoor first****

A beginner-friendly blue-graded trail with a short detour around the beautiful lakes by Nant yr Arian. Pippa is leading a concurrent ride on the red-graded Pendam trail for those that fancy more of a challenge.

A 9km route on the Melindwr trail ideal for beginners or those getting back on their bike. This involves a mixture of blue-graded trail, forestry tracks and a few tranquil rural roads. This route has a few hills, but we will take our time and re-group at each one so everybody can catch their breath!

Hybrid or mountain bikes are suitable. E-bikes are welcome, but you'll need to ride at the pace of those without electric assistance. Please make sure e-bikes are fully charged.

Please note the following items to bring with you on the ride:
-helmets are compulsory
-full fingered gloves are strongly advised for riding off-road
-glasses
-appropriate footwear should be worn, i.e trainers, no open-toed shoes.
-a waterproof layer is strongly recommended
-water & snacks
-spare inner tube for your bike
-any necessary medication.
