Frost Folly to Windsor Great Park

A great time of year to enjoy the autumn foliage enroute, as well as the majestic trees throughout Windsor Great Park. A fairly flat ride, starting at the back of Moss End garden centre, we make our way to Cranbourne. Then through Ascot Racecourse and drop down to the Black Nest entrance to the Great Park. A couple of main road sections to get there, but once inside the park, we stick to the main driveways stopping at Saville Gardens cafe about half way. Exiting via Watersplash Lane, our return trip has one section off road, but otherwise an easy ride back to the start on country lanes. ( An option is to ride from Cantley which would add 7 miles each way. If anyone would like to do that, we can meet at Cantley at 9am, and delay the official start until 9.45). Will update everyone nearer the time.

Cycle helmets are compulsory. Please check your bike the night before, chain oiled, tyres fully inflated (makes it easier!), and always carry a spare inner tube suitable for your tyre size. And preferable two! And a pump which you know fits your valve.
