Five Rivers Hulse Road SP1 3NR

This is a challenging 30 mile bicycle ride taking in some fairly steep inclines and some sweeping descents. We shall leave from Five Rivers leisure Centre at 7.30 am and head out through Lower Bemerton to Wilton and then follow National cycle route 24 all the way out on the Wyle Valley, through Warminster, Longleate Safari Park and into Frome. Please bring a road bike in good working order, you will be responsible for any maintenance needed on your bike during the ride but I may be able to advise and help. Please make sure you bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike, a puncture repair kit and pump with valve that fits the tyres on your bike. Bring pocket money for tea cake/fruit etc. from market and cafe or if you prefer bring your own snacks. Make sure bring a water bottle. There is parking at Five Rivers but restrictions do not allow for the duration of the ride therefore you may want to park over the other side of Castle Road where there is some free non residence parking available on Queensbury Road. This particular ride is one way as I shall be staying in Frome. You are welcome to have a cuppa at my sister's or brunch in one of the many cafes in the town centre. There is train station with regular trains back to Salisbury.
