From Parks to the Pirates

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. Join us on this lovely family ride starting on Regents Park's Broadwalk and crossing over onto Regents Canal Towpath. The route travels between the enclosures of London Zoo as far as the houseboats at St Johns Wood before we visit Camden Market.  Along with all the wonderful sights, there is plenty of time to enjoy a drink and some cake. If you would like to join in the fun but don't have a bike, Transport for London have a great way to join in! Barclays Cycle Hire Scheme Bikes provide a convenient option if need a bike. Just use the link https://web.barclayscyclehire.tfl.gov.uk/maps to check the location of docking stations and availability of bikes.  The closest docking station to the start of this ride is The Tennis Courts, Regent's Park.  Please make sure that you leave enough time to find a bike and get to the starting point at least 15 minutes before the ride is advertised to start.  Please also note the pricing structure which is £1 for 24 hour access plus an additional fee depending on how long the bike is away from a docking station - £1 for an hour, £4 for 1.5 hours, £6 for up to 2 hours and £10 for up to 2.5 hours.
