From Hammersmith to Ikea Croydon via Wandle Trail, a Leisure Bike Ride

HFCycling led ride takes in some fantastic and often under-discovered locations and scenery. Come and enjoy the ride and the trip.

This weekend we ride to Croydon following the Wandle Trail. This is a leisurely and scenic route alongside the River Wandle, taking us through a few parks, some attractions and mostly away from busy roads (some small sections on main roads). We will head to IKEA to treat ourselves to Swedish lunch.

Departure is from Brook Green, Hammersmith W6 7BD. We meet by the tennis courts next to Dunsanny Road. Please arrive by 9:45 as we will depart at 10:00.

We ride at a leisurely speed and the overall distance for this ride is about 25-30 miles. Please ensure you are comfortable with this level of exertion.

We expect to be back at Brook Green at about 3-4 pm.

Please bring a face covering just in case some venues ask you to wear one. Bring locks, lights and carry a spare inner tube or a puncture repair kit. Bring a rain jacket just in case.

OMA Bikes omabikes.co.uk will be providing support in case you need assistance with a puncture repair.

As part of our agreed fundraising, if you wish to donate a Pound or more on this ride, please bring along a £1 coin or cash as required.

This ride is being put on by Hammersmith & Fulham Cycling which is part of the London Cycling Campaign.
