Starting point

Flintshire
CH5 4DP

This ride will be weather dependent, I will cancel if it looks like it will be too windy or rainy. Please arrive 15 mins before our ride so we can carry out bike checks etc.

This ride is suitable for all but the pace will be that of the slowest and is designed for those starting their cycling journey or returning to cycling and want traffic free.
We will be on traffic free paths and any roads will be very quiet and gentle.

This week we will be riding approximately 18 Miles on the pace of the slowest rider so that it will hopefully encourage those who have not signed up before to come and try. No speed is too slow, and this is NOT designed for the faster riders!

This week the ride will go along the Greenway to Dragons Bridge, heading to Blacon where we will take Western Ave to Sealand Road. We will then turn onto Ferry Lane and up to the bridge by Saltney Ferry. Here we cross the bridge and take the Road to Chocks Away. After the cafe stop we will return to Saltney Ferry and along the river bank and back to the car park. (lets hope the wind stays away!!)

Please park considerately in the car park (opposite Yvonne's Cafe - there is additional free parking further along the road). Please note that there is a height barrier.

The Coffee stop is optional and this week we will be stopping in the middle of the ride at Chocks Away

The route is mainly an out and back route along the river and quiet country lanes so hoping that the weather will be kind to us!!!!
