This ride will be weather dependent, I will cancel if it looks like it will be too windy or rainy. Please arrive 15 mins before our ride so we can carry out bike checks etc.
This ride is suitable for all but the pace will be that of the slowest and is designed for those starting their cycling journey or returning to cycling.
We will be on traffic free paths and any roads will be very quiet and gentle.
This week we will be riding approximately 12.5 Miles on the pace of the slowest rider so that it will hopefully encourage those who have not signed up before to come and try. No speed is too slow, and this is NOT designed for the faster riders!
We will start as usual on Route 5, heading over to Hawarden Bridge.
We will continue on the Greewnway to the Blacon turning where we will turn off and head up to our stop for refreshements at Chatwins.
From Chatwins we will head back to route 5 and on to our cars via Dock Road
Please park considerately in the car park (opposite Yvonne's Cafe - there is additional free parking further along the road). Please note that there is a height barrier.
