Friday Breezers through Weymouth's Winter

Starting and finishing at Redlands Leisure Community Park on Dorchester Road where there is plenty of parking, toilets and a cafe this is an easy going loop to the fringes of Weymouth taking in some country lanes and continuing on to cycle the length of the seafront. Mostly flat using a mix of quiet roads and our many traffic free cycle paths.

There is a planned refreshments stop towards the final third of the ride distance and there are always opportunities to stop to re-group, take photos along the way and have a breather.

In preparation, please always ensure your bike is fit & safe to ride before participating, tyres are correctly inflated, gears and brakes are working effectively. Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in and suitable for the weather conditions. Please bring a spare inner tube, a waterproof jacket, a snack and a bottle of water/juice. If there is a planned café stop, you will need a lock for your bike and if you wish to buy refreshments, please bring some means of payment. We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet and lights are often necessary when winter riding
We will always take into account the least experienced rider and we always ride at the pace of the slowest rider.
