Friday Breeze from Newton Leys

Welcome to our Breeze rides taking place from our lovely Newton Leys. The aim of the ride is to get as many ladies as possible, from Newton Leys and outside on their bikes and back to cycling. We’ll meet at the no.19 Bus stop, for more information please see Milton Keynes Bus Map. Each Friday ride will vary and include routes to Bletchley centre, Caldecotte Lake, Stoke Hammond and Winslow. We’ll use the national cycling routes most of which are traffic free. The total ride will vary from 5 – 10 miles and we’ll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cold weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a pair of warm gloves and warm socks may also be useful.  Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  Please note all children under the age of 16 MUST wear a helmet. If we get chance we’ll try to stop for an ice cream or warming drink so please bring some money. We are a friendly bunch of ladies who would love to take you on a fun and social bike ride.  We welcome newcomers to Breeze rides and all abilities are welcome too! Look forward to seeing you there!
