Starting from - Our usual starting point at Frenchwood Recreation Area car park ,Esplanade , Preston, PR14PJ , ( postcode may not be exact ) .Basically , you come off London Road along the side of the River Ribble ( Boulevard ) , stay on that road until you come to the playing fields in front of you , it then turns into Esplanade , the car park is at the end in the corner of the playing fields, PR1 4LX

We head out along the Guild Wheel through Avenham Park , then along Blackpool Road , up to Warton and through Lytham Prom working our way north to Blackpool where we turn around somewhere along the Prom . I think we will stop for food at The Lowther Pavillion again as they served us well last time we went there . We return the same route . Don't forget to check your bikes over the day before , and carry a couple of tubes and means to inflate your tyres .
