Fremington Quay to Torrington Station (Puffing Billy)

This is a route from Fremington Quay to Torrington Station and back. On the Tarka Trail with Debbie and Julie. We welcome all including those who want to gain confidence on the bike. We will be there to support you and enjoy a gentle ride along the Taw Estuary with other women. It will be a steady, sociable ride and we will stay together going at a comfortable pace for all.

We will set out from Fremington Quay (by cafe) along the Tarka trail, a shared walkway & cycle path. We will pass through Yelland, Instow & Bideford before arriving at Torrington Station. This is our halfway point where we can stop for refreshments at Puffing Billy on the Tarka Trail or bring your own refreshments if preferred. We will return to Fremington Quay back along the same route.

The route is almost entirely traffic free. There is road crossing at Yelland & Instow, both generally quiet roads. The route is flat.
