This route is all about the views!!!

We'll head to Kelso via Howtel and Pressen Hill and along the Hoselaw/Graden road, from which we can expect spectacular views of the Cheviots on one side and the wide expanse of the Tweed Valley on the other. We'll even pass a mini loch and a field of highland coos!!

We'll stop at Kelso Town Square for a break and a bite to eat; Home Bakery and Central Baguette are both highly recommended.

We then head to Coldstream on the back road via Ednam and Eccles, before we ride home via Cornhill and Branxton.

This is a long, 40-mile ride with only one hill of note. It is well within our collective capability.

We'll take our time and stop whenever we need, and Kelso offers a great place to take in some refreshments.

Please bring suitable clothing for a half-day ride and enough water to last you a couple of hours.
