We will head out of Chippy behind the allotments towards Glyme Farm, then wiggle our way to the Green lane to Chadlington. from here we swoop down to Pudlicote and Chilson, then through the fields to Shorthampton and Walcot. A bit of road takes us through Charlbury to The Old Shed, where we will stop for refreshment, before heading back off road through Taston and along the Saltway back to Chippy, coming back along the bridleway to the top of London Rd.

This is an amazing off-road route packed with foraging opportunities; the glorious hedgerows are bursting with fecundity and berries of all kinds.

The route is almost all off road along tracks and bridleways with just a couple of short stretches of country lane. Its pretty bumpy and up and down in places. You will need a mountain bike or a hybrid and good gears for this one.

We will stop at The Old Shed...we will have earned a break by then!

You must have a bike suitable for off road, a helmet, gloves, a spare inner tube if possible, and some money for refreshments. Bring your sociable head, this one is going to be fun! Please dont come if you are feeling at all under the weather, or suffering from any Corona Virus symptoms.

We especially welcome new comers, ride at the pace of the slowest rider, and wont leave anyone behind.
