Horton Playing Fields Car Park, Horton In Ribblesdale, North Yorkshire

Setting off from the Car Park at Horton Playing fields this out and back route will follow the river via the B6479 to Helwith Bridge and then down through Little Stainforth and Stackhouse to Settle.  We’ll stop for a break here at the lovely Car and Kitchen Cafe so please bring some money if you’d like to buy coffee and a cake. Any kind of bike will be fine on this tarmac terrain and please make sure you bring your helmet. I have spares if you haven't got one yet, so please let me know. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  It’s a good idea to bring some water, snack to keep you going. We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Don’t forget to see other rides happening in North Yorkshire on our Facebook page Breeze network North Yorkshire. Look forward to seeing you there.
