The ride takes in the parks & quiet ways of Hackney, Islington and through Knightsbridge, onto Hyde Park. There will be a stop at halfway point to enjoy the refreshments in the park cafe at the Serpentine. Take in the lakeside scenery and a gentle ride through it before returning to QEOP.
A hybrid/road bike is recommended. Check that your bike is fully functioning or have it serviced by a qualified mechanic. Tyres should be pumped up to the correct pressure levels to avoid delays. Bring a small pump, spare inner tube, levers, bike tool to release your tyre for possible puncture repair.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather including a Helmet. Carry Hydrations drinks and snacks to replenish energy levels.
