Fletchers for Tea and cake

A rolling 31-mile ride out to Eccleshall from Newport. This ride will be mostly along country lanes with a few lumpy hills on the way out. The outward journey will be via Chetwynd, Knighton and Bishops Offley. We will aim to ride at an average of 12-13 mph and will be stopping at Fletchers Garden Centre in Eccleshall for refreshments so don't forget your pennies for tea and cake. The return route will be flatter via Ellenhall, Ranton, Haughton, Church Eaton and Moreton before arriving back in Newport. If you need to cancel your place please let me know as soon as possible so that I can re-advertise your place as not everyone joins the waiting list

You will be guided and supported all the way by experienced Breeze Champions. As usual, we will be riding at the pace of the slowest rider, and whilst only 31 miles in distance, there are some challenging hills, so would suggest this one is not for novices. If our faster ladies want to join us, then please be aware of the published speed. Road bikes or hybrid bikes with road tyres are suitable for this ride. Please also bring a full drinks bottle, energy bar (or Jelly babies!) and don’t forget cash/card for the cake stop.

Your bike should be in good order, have a spare inner tube and pump, and remember we require all our riders to wear a helmet.
