The ride starts from Princethorpe College which first opened its doors in 1966 on the site of the former St Mary's Priory.
St Mary’s was established at Princethorpe in 1835, and was the fourth home of the Benedictine nuns since 1792, when they fled from France during the French Revolution.
The route takes us from Princethorpe onto Wappenbury, Hunningham and into Offchurch. We take the Welsh Road to Bascote Heath through to Long Itchington and Stockton before our stop at the garden centre near Tomlow for coffee and cake. Our return leg takes us via picturesque Leamington Hastings, Birdingbury, Marton and Eathorpe.
Local route on mostly minor roads with some hilly sections that offer rewarding views across Warwickshire. Pace to suit group.
