With the weather looking dry for this weekend make the most of it - Sunday 16th March Canal ride to Wolverhampton. Flat, traffic free route along the canal towpaths to Wolverhampton. The canal runs parallel to the Birmingham to Wolverhampton rail line with stations in-between at Smethwick, Sandwell, Dudley Port, Tipton and Coseley if you're not sure about being up to riding there and back. We will stop for lunch in W'ton, distance to W'ton 14 miles approx. Meet at 10.45am The Library of Birmingham, Centenary Square B1 2ND, set off 11am prompt. BRING LOCKS for lunch stop.
