The much anticipated Tyneside Safari Ride. Taking in the wildlife installations around the area. Starting at Bill Quay Farm where we'll have the pleasure of the company of a selection of the usual farmyard animals, we'll head west past the Kittiwakes, then The Hancock Museum to the Rhino, Exhibition Park to catch Born Free before the installation moves on the heading for the Tunnel via the Killingworth Hippos. We'll take in the fish at The Tunnel then the turtle at South Shields before returning to the start.

This will a mix of paved cycleways and roads as we ride around Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, and South Tyneside

There will be stops for photos at each of the safari attractions and we'll also plan in a stop for coffee and cake. Venue TBC.

Helmets are mandatory on all of our rides. Any riders without helmets will be turned away. All riders should carry a basic toolkit, spare inner tube(s), puncture repair kit etc even if they aren't sure how to use them. There will be plenty of help on the ride from people who do. As always there will be a coffee break so remember a card or cash if you plan to partake

We never leave anyone behind
