FLAB Social Rides Gateshead and South Tyneside - Tyne and Wear Elephant

Leaving from The Tyne Pedestrian Tunnel at Jarrow, we'll head down to Sunderland then cross through West Boldon back in Sunderland and up the coast to South Shields via Whitburn. From there we'll head along to Baltic Square, across the millennium bridge the back along the North Bank to the start to complete the Strava Art Elephant.

There are a couple of climbs on this route, Hylton Lane being the more challenging of the two. There will be a couple of stretches off road so if we've had wet weather the route may not be suitable for road bikes
