FLAB Social Ride Gateshead and South Tyneside - Sunday morning coastal confidence builder

Starting from the Tyne Pedestrian Tunnel South Hub at Jarrow, we'll then head down to South Shields on a mix of paved cycleways and on road, we'll continue down the coast to Whitburn then head across through Cleadon, East Boldon, Boldon Colliery then back to Jarrow via Primrose.

The route is mainly flat but there are a few lumps and bumps coming out of South Shields.

Riders are expected to wear a helmet for all FLAB rides. There will be a stop for refreshments so please bring a card/cash if you plan to partake. Please also bring basic tools, spare inner tubes, puncture repair kit etc

There will stops for group photos, selfies, and ice cream

We'll be stopping for coffee and cake somewhere on the route so please remember a face covering and cash/card for refreshments if you're planning on partaking. Any participants under 16yo must be accompanied by an adult. We request that all riders wear a helmet and in line with current COVID guidelines, please ensure that you have a basic toolkit, spare inner tube, puncture repair kit etc to ensure that you are self sufficient.
