A variation on one of our previous excursions from Elvaston - basically trying it backwards with a little extra couple of miles tagged on. Much of the ride is fairly flat, with a more challenging bit in the middle so that you feel you've earned the café stop. The elevation scale below distorts it, so don't be put off!

The ride is all on road, with a couple of short, busier sections. Will suit any kind of bike but might be harder going with knobbly mountain bike tyres.

Usual plan for the ride - no one gets left behind, pace will suit the "steadiest" of the riders, we will wait at the top of hills and at junctions if we need to. Bring a bike, a helmet, a sunny disposition and cash for the café stop!
