FLAB Social Ride Derby 25-6-2017

A more challenging, lumpier ride, with over 900 feet of climbing in 20 miles. Setting off from the Mundy Play Centre car park, we head steadily up hill round the western edge of Derby, before swinging west and getting on the roller coaster road that is Long Lane down to Longford. After Longford we swing south and then east to loop back through some lovely - and flatter - country lanes, before a great couple of miles heading downhill back to where we started. Pace will be slow enough that everyone can get round, 10 mph maybe, but slower if necessary, no one will be dropped. Other than a brief couple of hundred yards on the A52, it's along quieter roads and country lanes. Café options towards the end are at Hackwood Farm or Markeaton Park.
