Another recycled route, but a nice one. Pretty much flat and off road all the way, starting at Trent Lock and heading up the Nutbrook Trail to the lovely Nutbrook Coffee Shop to refuel before retracing our steps back.

Run at the pace of the person at the back of the group, easy going sociable ride, no one will be left behind. Best suited to hybrids, tourers and mountain bikes, pretty well surfaced all the way, but not great for skinny road tyres (less than 28mm width)

Bring a working bike, a working helmet, a drink, café money and a sense of humour! A pump and an inner tube to fit your tyres might also be advisable as we head towards the end of summer.

I'm running the ride from Trent Lock to the café and back, but will be riding down to the start from Ilkeston, so anyone wanting to ride down with me and then head home after the café, please shout up so we can sort it out.
