FLAB Social Ride Cannock Chase 09/12/2018

FLAB takes another trip to Cannock Chase! A gentle mountain bike ride around the picturesque Cannock Chase. The ride will not be technically difficult but is a decent length and has one long and challenging climb. The route follows the blue graded Abrahams Valley loop starting from Birches Valley car park and taking in some of the best parts of the chase. 

The ride is best suited to mountain bikes and gravel bikes. Pace will be determined by the slowest riders, nobody will be left behind. There are a couple of challenging climbs including a long drag up Abrahams Valley which is not to steep but quite long. The ride is intended to be a fun and social experience in an all-inclusive spirit, not a race! Therefore all ability groups are welcome but some experience on a mountain bike would be preferable.  The ride will commence around 10:00 so please be there for 9:45 meeting point will be outside the cafe at the Birches Valley Car park. 

We will have some food at the cafe at the end of the ride!

Please ensure you bring a suitable bike helmet and some money for parking and refreshments. Also please register for the ride on letsride so I can understand the group numbers.    See you there!
