The ride is 17 miles with 1,400 feet of climbing.
Starting in Bishop’s Waltham we head out through country lanes to Dean where we pick up the first section of gravel up through the Preshaw Estate to join the South Downs Way. We then follow the South Downs Way to the Cafe at Holden Camp Site.
Following a coffee & cake stop we carry on the South Downs Way to Cheesefoot Head before heading back to Bishop’s Waltham via Upham on a mixture of country lanes & gravel tracks.

The route is mostly country lanes & gravel tracks on the Southern edge of the South Downs national park. Suitable for gravel & mountain bikes.

Cafe at Holden Camp Site

All participants must wear a helmet and bring basic tools for basic repairs such as a puncture. Money needed for cafe stop.
